With over 25 years of management and supervisory experience in hospitality, Gordon has amassed in-depth knowledge of the industry, including the nuances necessary to run a business smoothly when developing new concepts, executing takeovers, or maintaining licences, bringing fading businesses back to life, or simply expanding. He has successfully opened various large late-night concepts, nightclubs with restaurants, bars and daytime brasserie style eateries.
Gordon worked on development and delivering of concepts such as Luna Gin Bar (West Hampstead Summer / Autumn 2020) during Covid-19 period, on market re-positioning and refurbishment of Bronco’s (Worcester Park, summer 2020) and has been contracted since to work on reconfiguring old sites for new restaurant / bar concepts in Gloucester Road and Chelsea.
Previously involved in management and licence preservation of DSTRKT Restaurant and Club successfully keeping its licence in place for over 2 years before having to hand it over to operators that could not maintain it or take it further. One of the longest serving, key managers of Buddha Bar Knightsbridge, he also successfully delivered on time, on budget and opened Elysium Café Royal, Penthouse (in first year of its inception), and ran businesses such as Comedore Grill & Bar Islington, Hotel Chantelle / Bonbonniere London, Concept Venues, Funky Buddha Mayfair and Stringfellow’s Covent Garden.
Worked in positions of Operations Director, Operations Manager for Group, Senior General Manager, Principal Licensee and DPS for various venues across London.
Gordon’s passion for food, drinks and hospitality industry, for working with people and building teams informs his work ethic, which is further backed up by his integrity.
